Former President Donald J. Trump Indicted
On June 8, 2023, Donald J. Trump with was indicted on charges stemming from an INDEPENDENT special counsel investigation. The 37 felony count indictment charges include illegal retention of government secrets, obstruction of justice, making false statements, and conspiracy to obstruct. This indictment was voted by a grand jury of citizens in the Southern District of Florida, a district that voted for Trump twice. Our laws that protect national defense information are critical to the safety and security of the United States and must be enforced. Violations of those laws put our country at risk.
