Our Committee has endorsed candidates! But what does that mean?

On May 7th, our committee had several guests attend our monthly meeting to help us decide who we wanted to support. We had three Secretary of State Candidates: James Manning Jr, Tobias Reed, and David Stauffer. We were lucky to have the Oregon State Treasurer candidates, Jeff Gudman, and Elizabeth Steiner, as well. Then we had two Columbia County locals give us a presentation on the two levies: the jail levy, and the 911 Communications levy.

Then, the Committee deliberated on the pros and cons of each of the candidates. We took a vote on who we best believed upheld the standards of the Democratic party, and best serve our community.
